A two-day interactive Cyber Bullying Awareness Workshop was conducted by the Well Being Centre of MCKV on 5 and 6 May 2026 for students of Classes 9 to 12. The workshop was designed to promote responsible digital behaviour and awareness of online actions.
The session began with an address by Principal, Mr Biswajit Majumdar, followed by engaging discussions and case-based activities that helped students understand the impact of cyberbullying and the shared responsibility of all involved. The workshop highlighted its emotional, social, and legal implications, including relevant provisions under the POCSO Act, the IT Act, and the school’s safeguarding policy.
Students gained practical strategies to respond effectively such as not reacting online, saving evidence, blocking/reporting, and seeking help from trusted adults. The duties of bystanders were also emphasised.
The workshop concluded with a reflection activity, leaving students more aware, responsible, and empowered to make safer and more respectful choices online.
