Startup Showdown: Ideas That Inspire Innovation

On 14 October 2026, the Commerce Department of MCKV organised- Startup Showdown, a mock Shark Tank competition for Classes XI B, XI C and XI D, with each class represented by a team of three students.

From colour-changing food labels to high-protein energy drinks and gamified investment simulators, students pitched innovative business ideas to address real-life challenges. The activity enhanced their understanding of entrepreneurship, finance, market research and business models while honing their presentation and pitching skills.

The session concluded with valuable feedback from our judges encouraging students to refine their ideas and embrace an entrepreneurial mindset.
