Honouring Achievement, Celebrating Legacy: MCKV's 30th Foundation Day

M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony on the occasion  of its 30th Foundation Day with great pride and enthusiasm on 13 June 2026, marking three decades of excellence in education.

The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and an invocation to Goddess Saraswati by the school choir. The event was graced by Swami Ishteshananda, Headmaster, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur, as the Guest of Honour. Distinguished dignitaries present included Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, Chairman, Dr Partha Sarathi Chakraborty, CEO, Mr Neelkanth Gupta, Director, Mr Abhay Kejriwal, Trustee, Ms Suman Sood, Director and Principal of B D Memorial Junior School, Dr Janardan Ghosh, CEO, Madhusthali Vidyapeeth, Mr Biswajit Majumdar, Principal, and Ms Gargi Mukherjee, Senior School Headmistress.

In his address, the Chairman, reflected on the institution’s remarkable journey and future vision, while the Director lauded the achievements of the ICSE and ISC 2026 toppers and highlighted the school's remarkable achievements in 2025-26, including the recognition  of the School of the Year by Education World India School Rankings 2025-26, the fifth RIDS Accreditation and the introduction of the Finnish Curriculum. Addressing the gathering, Swami Ishteshananda urged parents to inculcate the values of integrity and truthfulness in their children, emphasising that honesty has the power to transform lives and that truthfulness is the real meditation. He also inspired students to embrace the 3D mantra of success—Dream, Determination, and Devotion, as guiding principles for a meaningful and purposeful life.

A major highlight of the programme was the release of Voyage 2026 , the school magazine. Students of Classes 1–9 and 11 received prizes for their academic achievements, while outstanding performers in the ICSE and ISC Examinations 2026 were felicitated for their exceptional results. 
Staff members were also honoured for their invaluable contributions, perfect attendance, and long years of service. Theta House won the Cock House Trophy and Best Co-Curricular House Award, while Alpha House was adjudged the Best Academic House.

The cultural programme featuring an enthralling instrumental presentation and a theme-based dance performance won widespread applause from the audience. 

The event culminated with a vote of thanks by the Principal and the rendition of the school anthem, bringing the memorable celebration to a fitting close.
