From Classroom to Trading Floor: MCKV Students Experience the World of Stocks

The Commerce Department organised MSE – MCKV Stock Exchange, an interactive educational activity aimed at providing students with practical exposure to the fundamentals of the stock market, finance and investment on 8 October 2026.

Students participated in a simulated trading environment using virtual capital, where they made Buy, Sell and Hold decisions based on simulated market movements and company performance. The activity helped them understand concepts such as shares, stock prices, risk and return, diversification and investment.

The activity successfully connected classroom learning with real-world financial situations and enhanced students’ financial literacy, analytical skills, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
