The Prefects’ Investiture Ceremony 2025–2026

The Prefects’ Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–2026 was held on 8 May 2025 in the school auditorium of M. C.  Kejriwal Vidyapeeth. The Guest of Honour was Swami Gunakarananda, Principal of Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira.

Following a detailed selection process involving teachers, co-ordinators, the Headmaster, and Director, student leaders including the School Captain, Vice-Captain, House Captains, Vice-Captains, and Prefects were appointed.

The ceremony began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the dignitaries, followed by the school anthem performed by students of Classes IX–XII.

Director, Mr Neelkantha Gupta, addressed the gathering, urging leaders to serve with honesty and critical thinking. The oath of office was then administered to the newly appointed leaders by the Director.

Swami Gunakarananda blessed the students and encouraged them to develop mental calmness and focus.

Other key appointments included the NCC Leader, Scout Leaders, and Student Editors.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice-Captain Naitik Jain and the National Anthem by the school choir.
