Published on: 07 Aug 2025

On 7 August 2025, the Wellness Centre of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth conducted a sensitization session titled “Say It Kindly: The Power of Gentle Words” for the students of Class VII. The session was led by School Counsellors, Ms Mousumi Chowdhury and Dr Apala Chatterjee, along with Special Educator, Ms Soumi Banerjee.

The session aimed to help students recognise the importance of using kind and respectful language in everyday interactions. Through an engaging discussion and a short, impactful video, students explored how words can shape emotions, influence relationships, and affect the overall environment at school and home.

Students also shared personal experiences of how kind or hurtful words had left lasting impressions on them. The session concluded with a touching group activity where they anonymously exchanged handwritten messages of appreciation spreading warmth, encouragement, and positivity.

The experience served as a gentle but powerful reminder: kindness begins with our words, and words truly matter.
