M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth organised an Orientation Programme on 11 June 2025 to extend a warm welcome to the new batch of Class 11 students. The event was thoughtfully designed to familiarise them with the school’s ethos, rules, and vibrant culture laying a strong foundation for their senior secondary journey.

The programme commenced with a heartfelt welcome by Theta House Prefects, Gopesh Daga (Class 12D) and Apratim Ray (Class 12A), followed by the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The occasion was graced by esteemed dignitaries—Mr John Bagul, Director of Athlead International School, Kolkata; Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, Chairman of MCKV; Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Director of MCKV; and Mr Biswajit Majumdar, Headmaster of the school.

In his welcome address, Mr Neelkantha Gupta reminded students of the dharma of MCKV: to uphold cultural values, show respect to elders, and foster a deep and enduring love for learning.

The keynote speaker, Mr John Bagul, delivered an inspiring message encouraging students to make thoughtful and progressive choices in life. He emphasized the importance of the 7Cs—Critical Thinking, Cognitive Flexibility, Communication, Creativity, Compassion, Collaboration, and Confidence as essential competencies for success in the modern world.

Ms Sanchita Sarkar, Secondary Stage Coordinator, led a virtual tour of the school campus, highlighting its state-of-the-art infrastructure, academic distinction, and co-curricular vibrancy. Presentations by the Interact Club, NCC, Business Enterprise team, and IAYP inspired students to actively participate in the school’s diverse and dynamic student life.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Sanchita Sarkar. The enriching two-hour session left students inspired and motivated to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead in this transformative phase of their academic journey.
