MCKV Intra-MUN 2025 was held on 25 and 26 October 2025 at the school campus, providing a vibrant platform for students to engage in thought-provoking debate and diplomatic discourse.

The event was graced by Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Director, and Headmster, Mr Biswajit Majumdar. Director Sir inspired the delegates with his words of encouragement and formally inaugurated the two committees — the Lok Sabha and the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW) by ceremoniously handing over the gavel to their respective Chairpersons.

The Lok Sabha was chaired by Mr Shivans Bhura, an alumnus of MCKV, while the UNCSW was presided over by Ms Mehuli, a second-year law student at St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Both brought a wealth of experience and a spirit of enthusiasm to their committees, setting a high benchmark for the deliberations that followed.

Over the course of two days, the young delegates of MCKV showcased remarkable analytical thinking, eloquence, and diplomatic acumen, engaging passionately in discussions on pressing national and global issues. The sessions were marked by intellectual rigour, strategic diplomacy, and spirited representation of nations and constituencies.

At the concluding ceremony, Mr Biswajit Majumdar, Headmster, addressed the gathering, commending the delegates for their confidence and maturity of thought, and appreciating the organisers for conducting the event with professionalism. He then presented certificates and prizes to Lakshya Agarwal (Class XII A) and Deepangshu Mitra (Class XI B), who were adjudged the Best Delegates in the Lok Sabha and UNCSW committees respectively.

MCKV Intra-MUN 2025 not only provided a platform for students to hone their public speaking, negotiation, and leadership skills, but also deepened their understanding of governance, policymaking, and international relations equipping them with invaluable lessons in collaboration and global citizenship.
