Brushing Change: MCKV Students Paint for the Planet
Published on: 08 May 2025
In a vibrant celebration of creativity and environmental awareness, students of Classes 7 and 8 at M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth transformed ordinary walls into powerful canvases of change. Drawing inspiration from Sustainable Development Goals 14 (Life Below Water) and 15 (Life on Land), they created stunning wall art along the volleyball and cricket ground enclosures.
Under the guidance of school art teachers Mr Bipul Mondal and Mr Prakash Majhi, the young artists brought their vision to life with colours that speak volumes about the need to preserve our planet. The project, completed on 8 May 2025, not only brightened the campus but also amplified the message of sustainability.
The initiative was further enriched by the gracious presence of Director Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Headmaster, Mr Biswajit Majumdar, Middle Stage Coordinator, Ms Debjani Kundu, and HR Manager Ms Aparna Howlader. Their encouragement and support served as a great motivation for the budding artists.
Together, these brushstrokes are more than art—they are a call to action for a greener, more mindful tomorrow.
