The academic year begins
in the first week of April and ends in the last week of March.
Saturdays and Sundays-the weekends are designated holidays, though
Saturdays are assigned for compulsory extra-curricular activities.
English being the global communicator, the school has chosen English as the
instructive medium. However, keeping in mind the richness of Indian
languages, the vernaculars are also emphasized.

vacations, the school organizes excursions and short trips to places of
interest in and around Kolkata.
