Dear Parents,                                                                                                  

  1. As you are aware, the Final Assessment will begin on 26 February 2018 and will end on 9 March 2018 for the Junior School, and 10 March 2018 for Senior School. Parents are advised not to plan journeys on the last day of exams as, given the uncertain times we live in, unexpected developments might necessitate the rescheduling of the final exams.
  2. The students of Classes 5 to 9 should come to school on Saturday, 17 March 2018, and Class 11 on Monday, 12 March 2018 at the usual time.  The answer scripts will be shown and school will give over at 3.00 p.m. for Classes 5 to 9, and at 1.10 p.m for Class 11.

Montessori to Class 4: Monday, 19 March 2018 between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.

Classes 5 to 9: Saturday, 24 March 2018 between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.

Class 11: Wednesday,14 March 2018 between 2.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m.

     4. Either of the parents is requested to come to collect the results along with the fee book of
        their ward. If they are not free, another  person may be sent with an authorization letter
        and the fee book of the student concerned. Report cards will be given in the  respective
        classrooms. RESULTS WILL NOT BE  GIVEN TO STUDENTS, so they need not come
         on that day. If they accompany their parents, they must come to school in proper school
         uniform. The results of the Final Assessment will be FINAL and will not be  altered under
         any circumstances. The school will not entertain any discussion on this matter.

     5. If a parent wishes to withdraw his ward/wards from the school, he/she can apply on or
         before 19 March 2018.  Any parent applying after 19 March 2018 needs to pay
         a month’s fee, i.e. tuition fee for April 2018. A transfer certificate will be issued on the
         receipt of a  written application from the parent after payment of all school dues and
          a charge of Rs. 50/- for the TC application form.

The School re-opens for Montessori & Nursery on Monday, 2 April 2018, and will give over at:

           10.00 a.m. for Montessori
            10.30 a.m. for Nursery

The School re-opens for K.G. to Class 10 on Tuesday, 3 April 2018, and will give over at:

11.00 a.m. for K.G., I & II
11.30 a.m. for III to X

            Class 12 will report for the new session on Thursday, 15 March 2018 and follow a
            special time-table.

There will be regular classes for KG to Classes 10 & 12 from Wednesday, the 4 April 2018, and for Montessori and Nursery from Monday, the 9 April 2018.

The ID cards of your ward for the current academic session will be taken back by the school on the last day of the final examination.

     6. School Shoes:

From Academic Year 2018 - 2019, students will have to wear only the prescribed SLV/Prince brand shoes available at MCKV from Monday to Friday between 10. 30 a.m. and 12. 30 p.m. There will be no sale during the recess (11. 05 a.m. to 11. 15 a.m.) and dispersal of Montessori and Nursery children (11. 30 a.m. to 11. 45 a.m.). No other brand will be allowed in order to maintain uniformity.

     7. Parent-Teacher Meetings:

  • Monday meetings between teachers and parents will be discontinued from Academic Year 2018 - 2019.
  • Teachers who need to meet parents of students regarding their studies, behaviour, etc., will inform the parents in advance through the 'Appointment Request' page in the School Diary.
  • Likewise, if a parent wishes to discuss her/his child's progress, she/he will make an appointment with the teacher concerned through the 'Appointment Request' page of the School Diary.
  • All such meetings will be held only on a working Saturday. Date and time will be informed in advance.
  • There will be no meetings between parents and teachers on weekdays.
  • Parents are not allowed to meet teachers when they are in class.
  • For urgent matters concerning their children, parents may meet the Senior School in-charge and the Junior School in-charge with prior appointment during their visiting hours (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.).

     8.New ID and Escort Cards (K.G. to IV) will be handed over to the parents on Result Day,
        i.e. 19 March 2018, only when the  parents  hand over the Escort Cards of the current
        academic session to the Class Teacher on that day.

    9. Attendance on closing and re-opening days is compulsory. The names of those students
        who remain absent after reopening of term will be struck off the rolls on 09/04/18, and the
        vacancies thus created will be given to wait-listed candidates. If a student is seriously ill
        and is unable to come to school on the re-opening day, either of his parents
        (not a messenger) must come to school on that day and submit an application
        supported by a medical certificate.

10.Parents are advised NOT to send their wards to school when they are sick or infected with contagious diseases (conjunctivitis, jaundice, mumps, chicken pox, measles, etc).

11.Summer vacation will start from Saturday, the 12 May 2018 and the school will re-open on Monday, the 11 June 2018.

12.For the past few years, M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth has been awarding a Merit Scholarship of 50% of the tuition fees to the outstanding students of Classes I to IX and XI who secure a minimum aggregate of 90% as well as the first position in the Class among all the sections. In keeping with this enlightened practice, even this year, we will continue with our mission to encourage and inspire our students to work hard, and to show our appreciation for all those who have made commendable efforts throughout the year.

13. Class X students will also be eligible for a Merit Scholarship in Classes XI & XII on the following basis:

     Aggregate average in the range of 95% and above:merit scholarship of 30% of the
     tuition fees for 2 years.

    Aggregate average in the range between 90% and less than 95%: merit scholarship of
    25% of the tuition fees for 2 years.

14. Textbooks, exercise books, stationery articles and uniform will be available from the school as per the following schedule.

  1. Those who fail to buy the books for any serious reasons on the mentioned dates may come to school on Thursday, the 29 March 2018 between 9.00 a.m. and 12 noon to deposit the booklists and money. The delivery of these materials will be on Friday, 30 March 2018 from the school between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.
  2. Parents are requested to pay the fee for the month of April 2018 before collection of books and stationery, and to produce the fee book while collecting these.
